In other news, I'm working on a character design for a top-secret book someone i know is writing. should be lotsss of fun.

So I have all these sketches, and I want to color them all pretty in Photoshop. So I bought the program, and a how-to book. And I still get crap. I feel like I should get a Photoshop tutor, or something Oh well, back to the drawing board. ha...ha...

So I've been trying to find my "style" for a while now (unintentional rhyming, shush), and so far the search is going pretty badly. I just enjoy doing so many different things, it's hard to pick the one I like best. And I've yet to stumble across the style that just shouts "YES!! YOU'VE FINALLY FOUND ME!!". So, basically, this is a warning that my posts may be getting even more random before I eventually find something that defines me as an artist. Oh well.

1. When I get stuck on a book (or book series) I will read it like 400 times until I get stuck on something new.

2. I also get stuck on certain words that I'll say all the time until I start using something else (as of now it's "totally" and "and by ___ I mean")

3. I guess the first two point towards me having an obsessive personality. huh...

4. Right now, three of my walls are covered in HP posters. :]

5. I usually do my best art when I'm not trying; doodles on notes, in books, and on my planner always come out better than the ones in my sketchbooks.

6. If I'm not drawing or doing schoolwork, I spend my time baking and decorating cakes.

7. I've been involved in theatre since I was five. In Kindergarten, I was the gypsy in our play, "Welcome to the Circus".

8. For Christmas this year I asked my friends to give me sponges.(I love sponges. I don't know why, I think it's because they're squishy)
